I met the rescue crew at JP Tractor about 12:30, and watched my cub go south. I wonder if it will have a Mississippi accent when it comes back? Sure hope so.
Left to right are Bud Fisher Sr., Bud Fisher Jr. (cub-bud), and Russ Leggitt (rleggitt), with my poor pile of parts behind them.

John, they are not exactly "next door" neighbors, but they are GREAT neighbors!
I think a little southern accent would be a nice touch for your Cub too

Everytime I think about what they are doing, I get a little bit of teers in my eyes. Not sure if it is them being so nice, or if it is because I can't help on it. I get great enjoyment out of working on the small tractors. Go to the shed, get the tools out, turn on the radio, and pretend the rest of the world with its problems and politics doesn't exist. There is something special in being able to say "I did it all myself". I can't do that now, but with what Bud Jr., Bud Sr., and Russ are doing this cub will be extra special. I'm totally overwhelmed by not only there actions, but all the other offers of help and parts I've had.
My wife has traded her central Arkansas accent for a Missouri hill billy one. I sure miss her accent. Hope the cub keeps its accent.
