Probaly not, but what have you got to lose, give it a try. It will make it pretty for display if it won't plow.
Best,
Mike

If the disk cuts ok or well - how about just using the disk as is.
I have an excuse. CRS.

If it's a crack just drill a small hole at the end of it. That should stop it in it's tracks.

Dan, wleding would probably work on a disk harrow, but a disk plow encounters a lot more stress than the harrow. I believe they are still available form IH, but a little pricey. I would suggest trying to weld it, or maybe having a pro do it depending on your ability.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

It is not a crack, it has a couple of different areas with a chunk broke out. I dont plan to do much plowing with it and it should last quite a few more years.

I have already plowed my garden areas with it for this year. i'll let it go through a few freezes and probably give it another plowing before the cool season planting. But it shouldnt be too hard to plow now. thanks
