We hit the jackpot 12 inches it was a pain to move, cub was too slow so I went with the Green and Yellow diesel with the thrower no problem. More comming for Thurs, Fri. Sounds more like a icey mess.

Got between 8 and 10 " yesterday, but it was heavy. Just took half swipes, and she did a good job, even down by the end of the driveway.

We got about 6" or more of the wet heavy stuff. If it was dry snow we would of had a lot more. Its good snowman making stuff.

I talked with a local excavator guy and he says the frost line was around 2" deep if that. That was about a month ago. I noticed I plowed gravel/dirt too when i pushed the snow. I'll be hauling gravel this spring again.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Got a couple of inches here but nothing worth pulling the Cub out. We had been really mild here for the last couple of weeks and the snow banks all melted away. It was like spring. Got me thinking about planting.

Gas your equipment up again there's another northeaster comming thursdaynite into friday morning. There predicting freezing rain & ice too make sure your generator is running too. Number #4 is on the way.

Think about it if we are going to get 20 storms we may get it like we had it a few years ago with snow storms every 3 or 4 days. My seat time while plowing wasn't any fun by the end of that season. It was like having a second job. I'm happy i wasn't shoveling it. All i can say is bring it on!!!! I have plenty of gas ready to go...

Remember that? What a winter!
I had a snowplowing route with 35 or so stops including a development I built with a 3/4 mile street. We were so clogged with snow that the town of Greenwich hired every contractor possible with backhoe's, loaders, dump trucks just to help keep up with clearing the snow. Route 1 was reduced from 4 lanes down to 2 and the side roads went from 2 lanes down to barely squeezing one car through at a time. The worst of the storms went on for almost three weeks straight. I remember 3 in a row which dumped 20-30" each time.
Man, I made a ton of $$ that winter. I'd stop home every day or so to catch a little sleep & dump out all the cash I made just by people flagging me down. Forget about all of my usual stops. It was 1996 & I bought a 2-1/2 kt. engagement ring for my (now) wife with the $ I made in one week.

We have about 12 inches or so down now. Haven't had a chance to get seat time as yesterday was Moving Day :!: :big smile:

Ray, Gord Trail and I went out to almost Salisbury and loaded up Gord's Fleet - a Super H, a Super A and a bunch of stuff to haul back here to Rudi's House of Cubs and Other Letter Series Tractors. Pics to follow, but let us say, it was an interesting time to move all this stuff. 70 feet of truck and trailer loaded with lots of RED Tractors and Implements

Seat time is a luxury at the moment.... now we gotta dig out again... :!: :big smile:
