five blade disc harrow

Postby greybeard » Fri Dec 28, 2007 3:23 pm

i bought a 60 cub in sept. the owner had five implements with it laying outside, been there probably 20 years, they are not in bad shape considering that, there is disc harrow with five discs on each half,it looks much like picture of cub f38 i have in book. that one has four discs, is this one for a cub or made for a larger tractor. thanks george

The 28A had 5 discs per side:

Does yours resemble this?

Is this one for a cub or made for a larger tractor.
If the disc came with the Cub - the Cub can probably handle it.

Take a look at Don's photo. If your disc is quite a bit larger than the one in Don's photo the Cub may not be able to handle it. The only way to know for sure is to try it.
I have an excuse. CRS.

The #38 was available for the Cub in both 4' and 5' versions (8 or 10 disks). The disks could be either solid or notched.
