Cub 22 Sickle Bar mower parts

Postby jeffr405 » Thu Dec 27, 2007 7:22 pm

Hello:

Does anyone know of a source for replacement guards for the 22 Sickle Bar mower? I found a generic one at Tractor Supply Co. (painted green # 700) that seems to almost fit.
Also, is the method of using bolts to secure the knife blades better than using rivets?

Thanks,

Jeff

Case IH dealer in my area still carries the guards and rivets are the way to go. Happy mowing. Bob

I prefer the rivets. They are very durable.
