Mike,

I understand completely how it feels to work a Cub, even though I can't imagine having to do that kind of work. I'll stick to plowing and cutting grass, Thank you.

Looks great, though, and I am proud of the way you have ressurected a Cub that many would not have attempted. Merlin loves you!

Plows all mounted and the carb got adjusted today. Betsy is running good. There is a definite correlation between adjusting the low speed jet and transition to wide open throttle. Of course I knew this from my RC plane flying days. But dummy me had not adjusted the new card thatn Donny M. rebuilt for me. Every time it tried to suck more gas it died.

The snow will start tomorrow afternoon. They say all we're getting here is wet stuff. The good stuff is going to fall further north. 7+ inches.

Donny Merlin was real ugly in June when we got him running at Cubfest. He seems to have gotten more handsome as the year has progressed. I think its the new doctor that bought him. Plastic surgury will do wonders.

Great pics Mike. I guess Merlin is in kind of WHITE shock and has no clue what that stuff is. The way you talked when you first got Merlin, I thought it would be a year or so before you could do that. Are you SURE its Merlin     Grump

Mike,
It was a long time coming but it was worth the wait wasn't it :?: You got it on the downhill side now so enjoy and have fun with Merlin.
It would be nice to have a white Christmas down here but not likely it was 65 today and very nice weather for the Christmas Parade in Woodstock Ga. Four of us showed up for some of Ron L.'s chile (and it was Great!) and had a very nice Minifest this afternoon.
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.
