Decals are "in the mail" today...that CUB looks very sharp!!

Mark, The cub looks Great. You did a Great job. I think you should hang on to that one. I sold my 61 only to buy it back a year later. If you sell it you may wish one day that you had not.

I think you're right Paul. It's a matter of inside space. I hate to keep equipment outside and won't do it if it can be avoided. It's like giving up a puppy; I rather it good to a good home but you hate to see it leave. That's whay I think I'll wait till spring, unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse.
Also alot of PM's regarding the paint. The yellow is single stage PPG and the white is two stage PPG.

Mark, I know it is not heated storage, but I was thinking of one of those Cover-it buildings for one of your tractors. Unless you just want to sell it. I don't like leaving stuff out to the weather either.

The correct new stock battery box is mounted it's just the battery is too big for the front side and top. I just need to get a smaller battery.

Paint

Postby sccrooks » Thu Nov 29, 2007 6:35 pm

What paint did you use for the tractor; I have one that is identical that I'm restoring and am looking for good paint (not close yet, but planning).

Thanks.

I have always had good luck with PPG paints sprayed from a HVLP gun. Good stuff lasts a long time. Remember it's all about the prep. You can use the best paint on the market but if the surface is not clean and prepared correctly you will not get a good result. Best of luck. It's not a big deal just clean, clean, clean and use a good primer. Did I say make sure it's clean?
