Anyone happen to know the diameter on 154 starter generator?

Postby Lance Leitzel » Thu Nov 08, 2007 4:43 pm

Hi all! I'm in the process of replacing my starter generator on my 154 and just hoping to double check the diameter of the pulley that rides on the starter generator? I searched the forum, but just got more confused. My gut feel is the pulley should be smaller than what would be on a cub cadet given the larger displacement of the engine?

Thanks - Lance

Hi Jack - I think I'm ok. I purchased one that spins clockwise vs. the counter-clockwise of the cub cadet. My 154 seems to have an interesting background, as with many tractors, I'm not sure what I got so I'm checking most things out carefully.
