Deluxe Seat--Neet some help

Postby Super A » Thu Nov 08, 2007 12:42 pm

All, (or specifically, those of you with a Cub equipped with a deluxe seat)

Would any of you be willing to measure for me the two pieces of angle iron, underneath the seat frame, which attach the seat to the left and right hand supports/brackets? They are cut at an angle on each end, so I need that too and what size stock it's made of. In the picture, it's the two middle pieces on the seat frame, running left-right. (Pic from TM's website)

I want to see if I can successfully adapt my old 140 style deluxe seat with adjustment rails to my Cub, while making it look "factory" or at least, "neat" as described:

I love sending Tom money, so I would just buy the new ones that Tom sells.

I'm not talking about the brackets themselves. I mean the two pieces of angle iron that are welded to the seat frame.

I concur with all of David's dimensions, except my angle iron is 1.5 X 1.25, with the long dimension vertical. Also, my left side holes are a little different dimensions, but you can adjust that according to your brackets.
