Sims cab manual

Postby BOB K. » Thu Oct 11, 2007 8:54 pm

I have a Sims cab for my offset cub. Does anyone have or seen manuals on how it mounts? I want to make sure I have all the brackets. Winters coming, need to get it on. :D

Rudi, I called Sims cabs today. It seems there were 2 divisons at one time. Of course the one that made the cab for the cun is no longer. They told me all thepaper from that division are long gone. :( We can only hope some might have a copy.

Brian:

Yes please.. detailed pics of the Cab would be useful. Measurements might be useful too ifn you get some time. That way the fabricators extraordinaire that haunt these halls, may be able to make similar units...

Please email them to me at the same time.. original jpegs would be very desireable.

Cab

Postby Joe Malinowski » Sat Oct 13, 2007 6:13 am

My 67 came with a cab I have not used in years. It is canvas goes down and covers the motor as well with a removable back. I am just curious if it is a Sims? Never had any paper work with it. Had it stored away for quite a while.

I have a SIMS steel cab with doors for my int154 and i emailed sims about new windows for it and they said they had nothing for it too. I want to strip the cab and prime/paint it, add new windows, a radio, a CB and a heater for snowplowing during the winter. Its a down the road project and i know that electrical power will be a problem too with the starter/generator. I may wait and get a 184(maybe) or rework the sims cab for my jeep tractor.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Denny, we used to have a setup very similar to that on our H. Add a round umbrella that will set down against the top of the windows, and you will be amazed how warm it is, even with the back open.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

Denny

Do you have any other pics of the windbreaker, inside view right hand side view and a rear view?

Me thinks that is another item I would like to obtain.
