What are the numbers for the proper yellow and white paint for a 1972 International Cub ?

Forget the number for the yellow, but it's Federal Yellow and the white is IH 935 white (listed in Rudi's chart as Cadet.)

You can get them from a Cub Cadet dealer, but be careful you get the old yeller. Could have been it was old, but the CaseIH rattle can paint is much better than the Cadet stuff I got at the local dealer. I was in a jam and needed paint.

I just bought some white to do my Woods mower brackets.

Do a search and you will find some lively discussions on paint......

i gave my dupont jobber the nason number for federal yellow and they matched it to a kia color. i just painted the transmission assembly and tranny tube today. for some reason i cant post pictures but i can email them, if you send me your email i'll send you some pics and you can see how it matches up.

I've used the Cadet yellow & white (in quarts). I really liked the white, it sprayed nice & covered very well. The yellow was a whole different matter. We thought we bought plenty to do the job, but should have had another quart. It just wouldn't cover! It also didn't spray or dry as nice as the white. It's well known that yellow is the hardest color to cover with, but I think this stuff is a little worse than most. You can get a nice job with it, but be sure to get plenty.

when you spray yellow always put a white sealer first, it cvers much better that way. john, sent you some pics.
