swinging drawbar info

Postby capecodcub » Fri Jan 26, 2007 2:41 pm

Can someone point me in a direction to find some pictures of the hook up for a swinging drawbar? I went to Tom's website but didn't see anything. Thanks

This thread is the reason I like the capabilities of the Internet in general and this forum in particular. A picture is worth a thousand words.

True, pictures are worth much, however, can someone enlighten me
"in words" as to situations in which a swinging drawbar might be
useful?? I know, my ignorance is showing, but better informed than
forever ignorant.

The swinging drawbar's main use on a cub was when using the 23A pull type disk. It made turning easier and able to make sharper turns. On bigger tractors it also allowed units such as the pull type plows to be positioned off center to line up correctly.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
