52R Combine engine update

Postby Super A » Wed Jan 24, 2007 7:14 pm

Today I went by the mech. to check on my Cub combine engine. I went with my FIL, he was dropping off his Ford 8N for some work. Anyway, he has it stripped and the block to the machine shop, it has to have a valve job. While I dread the bill, I am actually a little relieved to know it was something I >>really<< couldn't fix myself!

I'll keep y'all updated...

My sentiments exactly! Last time I saw it, it was mostly "together." Yesterday, it was hard to find it, there was so "little" left in the shop. My first impulse was to ask him where was my money from all the parts he had sold!

At least now, it'll be tip-top. Hopefully that's all that was wrong.
