Does that mean it is available in Maine Jeff?? I couldn't capture the picture on the ILL site to post it.

I think IH Cub says it all... but that's just me.... But I have an IH Cub and two Farmall Cubs...

Nice thing about a little state with wierd tag rules is that they can be handed down through the generations or given away. So somewhere there is a 1 that is not the governor or other special plate. Sort of a status thing too.

I am way too cheap to get vanity plates, but I did sorta beg the guy in the plate room for my initials.... got my birthday for the numbers too! No extra charge!

I have personalized plates as well:

Image
These are not my actual plates of course.. but my vehicle wears em.

Image
My callsign is VE9RHS, and Em has VE9EL. Both plates are inital plates.

I would kinda like maybe 47Cub or 48Cub or better yet 54Cub for my Trailer Plates.. but we can't personalize those yet...

We can't personalize trailer plates either, and I doubt I would spend the extra fee. You can't imagine my disappointment when the bracket broke and I lost my favorite trailer plate... 478N XX. It the time I was showing my restored '47 8N Ford and the number was purely a matter of luck.

!

That is indeed what it means. I'm thinking of getting it for one year only, then next year go back to the regular plates and keep these for "display". Or how about this? Image

Just say NO!

That's cool Jeff... I have a big collection of plates but no where to properly display em (barn in Maine??).

Had me curious, so I looked and RI has CUB available! They don't allow spaces either. Could get em in the sailboat version.... just right for the Fryeburg Harbor Yacht Cub, except they have sail powered tractors.
