Barney:

I think Don has it right. 48FCub would be about right. Sure would be unique if you could snap it up.

At the risk of being the Nabob of Negativity, personalized plates often trigger IRS audits.....carry on. Craig

Their thinking is people with enough time and money to want a PP will more than likely be "aggressive" when filing their tax returns. Craig

Not wanting to start a war on the subject---but if everyone in this state(NH)with vanity plates($30 extra)was audited, every IRS auditor in the country would be busy. Most likely targets for an audit include those with a second home, with a business that takes in a large percentage of cash, those claiming home office expense, big difference in income from one year to the next and other "red flags". Vanity plates are a big source of extra income for our little state--when I was in high school(late '60's) it was an extra $5,now up to $30,and if you want to spend more, get "conservation",or "moose" plates.
We also have tractor plates,I think they cost $10 or $12/yr.,about the only type of plate you can't personalize, darnitall!

Bill,

I guess I'm too late with my suggestion. Since Barney was named for George Bush's Skye Terrier (Scotty) I was going to suggest "DOG 1". Probably not many would make the connection?

OK !! You guys are right - I'm wrong. Just had to talk with my CPA and in the course of our conversation, I posed the personal plate question. He didn't laugh outright loud, but the tone of his voice indicated to me he thought I might have my nose in an adult beverage in the early AM !! I stand corrected - thought I had read it somewhere. Funny, I rarely make mistakes !! hehehehe Craig
