HELP? how do ya get the rad bolster and steering bolster se

i am trying to separate the radiator bolster and the steering bolster to change the seal for the steering arm . i have all the bolts out { 5 }and still cant get it separated .i already broke a tip of a flat screwdriver off also while i was tapping on the joint i was being very careful as to avoid damage but i dont want to proceed and screw some thing up , i want to take the 1960 f cub to Red Power Round up , every thing else has been going so good .

There is an index pin in there and it is usually a pretty tight fit. You will just need to continue what you are doing. Start with a couple of thin putty knives and try to work it apart keeping it evenly spaced all the way around. Gradually work up to screwdrivers but do try to keep it straight as you work it up.
