Larry - yes it was a reducer / reverser. Rick graciously consented to disassembly so that we could see the construction details and determine an exact gear ratio, which, if I recall correctly, was 2.53:1.

Thank You Mr & Mrs Willer for hosting a very nice cubfest. Any person that hasnt attended a cubfest should go, and remember to write down all of your questions before hand. I wish i did , there alot of cool things to keep me distracted! It was a real pleasure meeting everbody!!!!
