These belong to Jim Prout at BlueBird Ranch Trucking in beautiful downtown Jonesboro, Maine, a little further downeast than me. A very cool collection. 8) And speaking of very cool, he also donated the trucking for the 5300 wreaths that Worcester Wreath in Columbia, Maine donated to be placed at Arlington National Cemetery this week. Morrill Worcester has done this for a number of years, as has Jim Prout.

Vern good to see you back! Wondering where you have been.

Yep those are the same bunch I got a picture of last summer (05, or is it summer before last now??) on my way back from Rudi's. Got the Cub in this one... but impossible to get them all in one picture! http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y40/Bu ... 5Small.jpg

I saw the story about the wreath guy on TV this morning and have seen it on the internet too (email). Impressive how Mr Worcester shows his regard for veterans in such a wonderful gesture... Now I know the story of the truck too!

Although this is getting off the track of Jim Prout's Farmall collection, I thought I'd try to post a link to the article in our local paper, the Bangor Daily News, about the wreath laying, to go with Mr. Willer's very moving picture.

It's a wonderful thing that Morrill does to remember our veterans at Christmas. Our veterans and those currently serving deserve our heartfelt thanks every day.
