All,
Hate to bother you with rookie questions, but I received a call from my machinists today saying the crank was .010 under since machined. I am positive that this was not previously worked since the Cub has been in my family since birth. I am supposed to order the bearings but have 1 question: Would this mean that I need to order main engine bearings .010 and connecting rod bearings .010 as well I'm assuming this is the case....
Thanks again

Not necessarily. The mains could be .010 and the rods .020, or a combination of any numbers. The mains may not have been turned down at all and the rods could have been turned .040 for example. But all 4 rods will be turned the same and all 3 mains will be turned the same. If for some unknown reason you can't talk to your machinist, it will be on your receipt and marked on the crankshaft in permanent marker. But as SteveB said, check it yourself and when you are satisfied with your findings, check it again and get the corresponding bearings.

I did talk to the machinist and he did confirm .010 on both bearing sets. I ordered them yesterday from TMTractor and they beat Yesterdays Tractor parts that I ordered a week ago. I have no issues with the quality of material I have received from both companies thus far, but dealing with Tom @ TMTractor was pleasant and very quick to get it shipped. That alone has left an impression with me. I'm a fan......
