I saw a similar log carrier in action... very cool. The guy was using it to feed a one man firewood processor. Fed the log, cut it with a small chainsaw, spit it 4 ways (X shaped splitter) and conveyed it to another trailer. The main machine was run off a tractor PTO to power the hydraulic unit on the main machine.
