I'm cleaning up a repo house for a friend, they stole the A/C unit from the house for the copper. Cut off the power supply and carried it away. There have been several deaths here in KY from people cutting wires off poles. How many wires to make a pound? If they worked hard, they might make $20? Go out and get a job, McDonalds you could make $40 a day. Brandon.

People are canning those old tombstone welders becuase of the copper windings, they are worth more as scrap copper than people will pay for an old welder!

HEY :!: Be careful. I have one of those Lincoln 225 "tombstone" welders. Not all of us can afford one of those fancy Weld-Pak 100's. :D

I had a very nice Miller variable shunt welder that I lost in a disastrous fire. I couldn't afford to replace it at the time so I bought one of the famous cheap "tombstone" welders planning to replace it in a year or two. I haven't replaced it yet and use it regularly.

The fire was in 1972.
