In good ways. It looks like the next time we see each other will be at Tumbleweed. Plan on making reservations soon. Don't want to take a chance on the miles. I also took care of the project you gave me.

Cecil

I don't know about the other guys but I sure missed not having you around. How about next year?

Shoot, I knew you weren't ignoring us :!: What you did takes a lot of work and by the end of each day, I at least, am whooped. We'll have to hook you up with a webcam next year  so those who can't attend won't be chomping at the bit for information. As for myself I found something to keep my mind off not being able to be there

Congratulations on a successful Cubfest :!: :!: Now if we can just get those New England boys to get something going

BTW, Amy and my 6 month old grandson flew in from ME on Thursday past, $233.19 round trip on (sorry HR  ) Delta.

Looking forward to seeing Larry, you, and Pris next March :!:

Dan, Rowdy's a nickname I gave that tractor after I brought it home, because it didn't run very well and acted like it just didn't want to go. You've seen the tractor before....at my Dad's. It's his '69 model that he couldn't sell. Although it cleaned up nicely, it had issues from day one. He bought it as a non-running tractor, but the motor wasn't stuck, had fair tires, and the tin was all there and straight. He found it less than 2 miles from his house in a barn. After he got it home, fresh gas and cleaning the points got it running. He just assumed everything else would work too, (Me too). So, he went right in tearing down, cleaning, priming, painting etc. Once back together, she ran beautifully, but sounded like a pea thrasher in every gear. Plus after a few days, the hydraulics started leaking. :( So, after piddling with it for a while, he decided to just get rid of it and start new. That's when he got the Lo-Boy, which turned out nice, runs and drives great too! However he had a few lookers but not takers....so I traded him a trailer for it basically. I'm taking the dash forward and mating it up to the rear of my junk yard '74 with the deluxe seat and THE quietest trans/drive I've ever experienced. Together, it should make a solid tractor. Very smooth steering also. I doubt I'll put one of my mowing decks under it......I've been spoiled the the cub cadet hydro-static drive! It's leaves me still with just 3 tractors, but a yard full of parts...including a good spare engine. Today.....Dad and I were suppose to start on my barn. But we've had nearly a foot of rain today......so maybe next week!!!

I had forgotten how busy one can get at a CubFest. Soooooo many things to do :!:  :D Sooooo very little time to do them all in :!:  :( Either way you cut it.. it made for a weekend of First Class Fun 8) very 8) :D

Rose looks awesome, you did a fantastic job. Where do you get the time and the energy.
You and Ralph have to hold the 2 fastest records..
Ralph - how fast can you tear down a Cub without breaking anything :!:   and
Donny - how fast can you restore a Cub complete with paint and decals :!: :D :D 8) :?:

Thought about you guys all weekend. Tried to get on the web at night.. but nope... Aboo or Ahmed, I can't remember -- help Carl.. was not much help in sorting out the wireless password and key.. and I forgot my my USB Jump Drive so no way to grab a key... darn..   :!: :(

Harold, Rowdy looks pretty good too! The more I see the square nose's the more I am leaning to adding one to my collection. :!:

Harold: It sounds like you need to trade a tractor for a boat. We only got one inch of rain. I had wondered if Rowdy might be the one which Jesse had. He fired it up when I was there and the motor sounded good. So it will probably make an excellent tractor when the trade on the rear half is done. Maybe you will get dry weather soon to build the barn. Dan
