Which way is up on oil seal?

Postby Bob McCarty » Fri Oct 06, 2006 4:18 pm

I'm putting a steering box and radiator base back together. With the steering worm wheel shaft oil seal, which side goes up? The side that is flat, or the side that is U shaped? First time for this one!

Thanks, Bob

Bob,

The flat side of the seal goes to the outside.
