What do rims for the rear on a 154 with the wide rears cost?
Also what is a good price for a non-running ok condition lo-boy?
It is one of the newer one that look like the 102 cubs.
Not like he farmall cubs. Thanks.

Rims, I don't know. Valu-bilt has 7"x24" with loops for $74.99 each. Then you have to add shipping.

Good running Cubs with mower, in central Missouri, average around $2000-. The lowest price I have seen locally was $1500-.

A running 154 with mower would probably cost around $2500-, perhaps a little more.

Nonrunning 154 (Cubs) considerably less. I really mean very little if it needs rims. No definitive answer on what a nonrunning 154 is worth.

Everything thats a cub wether its an international 154 cub or a farmall cub in my area is around $2,900 and it seems to be the norm here. If you can find a cub thats cheaper consider yourself lucky. I picked up a 154 that runs and looks decent for under $1,000 a while back and i got really lucky. I guess the guy i purchased it from had his phone ringing off the hook about it and he sent one guy to me to see if i'd sell it? I guess collecting and restoring these is catching on more and more. I buying these awesome tractors to restore and use you can't beat the quality of these old tractors.

I gotten a couple 154's over the years, one for 900(bad clutch -parted out this one), and the other for 1500(fixed up and sold). Both were running and had the 59" deck under it.

There is one for sale down the road from me at a dealer for $900, its rough looking, but runs good, and has a newer woods belly mower under it. I'm not interested at this time though.

The 3pt hitch system, will go for up to $500 on ebay, by itself.

Have you noticed that the worst looking cubs seem to have the highest prices?

Hey Bill...You can find Cubs in my neck of the woods for $1,000.00 or less if you look in the hedgerows carefully ! They'll ALL need work, but what Cub doesn't to a greater, or lesser degree ! The Cub Cadets and Internation 154's command a higher price...some 154's OVER $2000.00 with jjust a belly mower !!! But they're still priced less that most John Deere L&G machines !

If you are diligent and persistent, you may find a very fair deal but more often than not, those "deals" are not advertised. As Country said, you have to look in the "hedgerows". Around the eastern MA and southern NH area, all Cubs command a high price as there are not many advertised. Those that do advertise know what they have and will ask somewhere near or above local "market value". The numbered series Lo-Boys that I have seen advertised command in excess of $2500 without implements and in fair condition.

I bought a 184 two years ago with a Sims cab, snow blade,chains,three-point and Woods three-point finish mower. It wasn't advertised, but a neighbor told me the owner's wife wanted it out of the yard. Its' creeper trans. is bound up so the engine dies if you let the clutch out. Engine runs fine, one front tire has a slow leak, other than that it seems pretty sound.Oh- I rode home on it on the end of a chain-only a half-mile or so.I offered $1000 and he took me up on it. Deals are out there, sometimes you find them, sometimes they find you.I haven't had time to work on it yet,but at least the creeper is easy to get to on this model--
How can you have too many Cubs????
