12 volt battery size

Postby Paul B » Wed Sep 13, 2006 5:50 pm

What is the correct size/type/group number for the 12 volt battery used in the later Cub's, or in this case a 1966 Lo-Boy. The TC-37F parts manual list the same 1HP R20 H part number for both 6 v and 12 v batteries.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

If you have problems go to NAPA and tell them you need a 6 volt battery that was the same one used in the old Volkswagon Beetles. It fits the battery box perfect and the posts are on the right ends.

Thanks Don

Thanks, but I am looking for a 12 volt battery for a later model Cub, not a 6 volt.
