Hello All
My cub losses its oil pressure when sitting around. If I reprime oil pump (setscrew on side of block and add oil) it goes back up and stays. I have spent $$$ on this rebuilding the motor I don't want to ruin it because of something small. Any Ideas?

Many cubs take 15 to 20 seconds to build oil pressure when they have set for a while, among other things they have to refill the oil filter. If yours takes much longer than that you may want to closely inspect your oil pump and housing. Wear or grooves in it would alow the oil to slowly seep back to the oil pan leaving the system dry and needing primed.
