Selection Procedures:
1. After the end date, all submissions will be adjudicated and the 22 best will be chosen by a predetermined panel of http://www.farmallcub.com members. The 22 submissions chosen will then be posted on the forum in a 1-week poll to determine which entries will be used. A total of 12 images will be used – 1 per month.
2. A few special considerations will be employed to make this first issue not only unique, but also possibly a collectible:
a)Images will be chosen to represent 5 major geographical areas, and these will include the Northeastern US, Southeastern US, Western US and the US Midwest. Also, at least one image will be designated to represent Canada.
b)2 other images are envisioned as being essential as they represent 2 of the finest Custom Built Cubs in our Community. These are George Willer’s Tricycle Cub and Rick Prentice’s Backhoe Cub. We will be voting on 22 entries, the top 10 to be used on the interior. The other 12 entries will be used on the front cover of the Calendar in the Collage.
3. For the images chosen by consensus, prior to layout and production, any additional information required as well as the necessary waiver will be forwarded to those chosen.
Production & Payment Process:
1.After the selection process, a 1-2 week production period is envisioned. After which, on a special Cub orientated page developed especially for the Cub Publishing, order forms as well as PayPal, IPMO and Personal Check/Cheque methods of payment will be made available.
2.Shipping will begin at this time. All orders should be filled in time for the holidays.
Mission Statement:
A calendar has always been high on everyone’s wish list. Also, one constant idea that has also been high on our forum members wish list, has been the desire to assist Dennis in the maintenance of the Forums and to help defray the costs associated with this site.
This particular project intends to honour that desire and therefore it has been decided that the sum of $1.00 from the total cost of this calendar will be earmarked as a contribution to the maintenance of http://www.farmallcub.com. After the end of December, 2006 when all the orders have been filled and the total number of sales generated is known, a Check/Cheque representing a $1.00 share/calendar will be presented to Dennis Rainey to help offset the costs of http://www.farmallcub.com.
Thanks one and all
Sincerely
(RedMan)
