When I removed the radiator on my 1949 Cub, I, of course, didn't notice which way the brackets were oriented. There are two holes on the top of each bracket, one hole has a welded on nut and the other hole is just a hole. Does the "nutted" (is this a new Cub word?) hole go to the front or the back? My books don't show anything.
The bracket looks like this: (The "@" is the nutted hole.)
Ignore the periods on the drawing, it's the only way it'll work.

I guess I shouldn't have tried to do this drawing at home.
Thanks Guys!!
Regards, Rich

Which way is front on radiator supports?
It wasn't broken, but I fixed it anyhow.
It's now broken and I can't fix it any way.
I have leftover parts somewhere.
I hope to reassemble it someway.
Then I can re-fix it somehow,
And hope to drive it some day!

Rich, no matter which wya you put it on the first tiem it will be wrong.
Actually I believe your picture is correct, assuming that meant nut to front. On my supports, both sides are drilled for shroud, but if you look closely only one side has been used.

If you are not part of the solution,

Which way is front on radiator supports?
Again, I thank all for the help and info.
I should have stated that the drawing was of a side, left or right.
It's nice to do things right the first time, even if it's a rare occasion!
There are also small holes front and rear at the top of the brackets.
This doesn't matter as these would work for the shroud regardless of which way the brackets are installed.
Happy Cubing!
