Is this the C or the Cub? If it's the Cub there are no sleeves.

I'm having a problem seeing how a slug of oil can be expelled from the exhaust unless someone poured oil in the engine or down the exhaust pipe.

Sounds like you're running rich and getting carbon flakes and condensate out of the muffler. That will tend to feel "greasy" and could be mistaken for oil.
Run some sea foam through it.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

I was wondering what basket case was shooting out the muffler. Sounds like i need to make an adjustment somewhere, as i get a greasy oily substance on the nice paint job all the time when running it. john
