On my 49, there is a grease zerk right ahead of the PTO pulley.
If I pump grease into that zerk where should it come out when full?
On all the other zerks grease comes out somewhere but it doesn't on this zerk.

That fitting pumps grease right into the pto shaft bearing. The bearing has a shield to keep some off the grease in the bearing but it is a loose fit so gear oil from the tranny will mix with the grease and vis-versa. I think the grease was there to lube the shaft while the tractor was still, like sawing wood or other flat belt stuff.
