A TRANSFER PULLING SLED in the making

Postby Rick Prentice » Wed Jul 26, 2006 12:18 pm

Hello all. The plans are being drawn up as I speak for an all Cub transfer sled to be used from one Cub event to the next. It will be similar to the nice one that was used last week-end at Bigdogs. I'll be compiling a list with all the parts needed. Anyone with parts or donations will get their name added to the weight box for all to see. I'll donate all my time and running around to the cause. "Country" is thinking up the perfect name for the sled. As soon as Country thinks up the name, I'll have the list ready and the project will begin. I'd like this sled to look it's best, so second hand parts will be avoided. Thanks and I'll keep "Y'ALL" posted :D

Rick,

I just talked to Donny about our club's (SCRAP) sled that isn't being used. I'm upset, since they bought it at my suggestion they should own a sled and they continue to use a rent-a-sled. It's a small one, but a little larger than necessary for just Cubs. He told me about your plan for easily portable weight. :D

I'm sorry I couldn't give him your phone number... it's locked away in my dead hard drive.

Sounds great, let us know - we always have a few parts laying around  Also can't wait to hear the name - First thing to pop in my mind was Cub Tug. Wish I could have seen the one at Bigdog's, sure sounds like FUN :!:

Jamie - I just finished watching Ralph's DVD of the Cub Tug. Either John Puckett or I will make and send you a copy.

Guys:

I sure would like to be part of this, even though I may never ever get to see it personally or even get to Tug it...

Let me know what I can do.. maybe one of the girls can design the Cub Tug logo or something... Amanda has a real cartoon mind and one of my favourites is her Porcupine with Attitude riding a Leopard TANK  :!:

Or maybe there is something else to help make this an "International" Cub Tug :?: :?:

Ralph.. I really would like a copy of the videos from the Cub Tub.. sure would be nice to be able to see em..

I'm thinkin' we should call the sled the "Possum". Then we could have "Possum Pulls".
