Whats the story behind the free gas cap offer.

Not that it matters just wondering if there was a law suit that lead to the free caps? Did someone get burned up and and win a large judgement?

Long story short - yes. Happened years ago. Replacement caps were a part of the settlement. However, the offer is coming to an end soon.

Jack:

Send an email to CornBinder - Brandon Kibe at Navistar. I am sure he can prpbably provide you with more reading material on the subject than you will really need.

From what I have read on the net in the past.. it is a sad but interesting story, filled with many of the best and worst habits that we as humans exhibit..

Well worth reading about..

I would hope he might be able to post links to stuff that would be of interest. You could ask and see what his response would be.
