I'm gonna go broke buying Cubs

Postby Peter Person » Wed Jul 05, 2006 12:52 pm

The boys are away for the week so my youngest daughter (5 children in all) got some seat time on the 4th.
Hope you all enjoyed Independence Day.

Peter, I guess you want leave her behind the next cub event you go to! All you need now is a bigger barn! I think Donny might share his plans when you need them :D
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Oh boy.. are you in trouble! I was going to tell ya that one Cub was not enough. The boys were good about sharing, they even let you use it.

If they were still making them I would say go for the 'fleet' rate and 0% financing.

I know of at least 6 over here Pete. Just think, you could have one for each of the boys, one for you daughter, one for you and one in the shop being rebuilt all at the same time.

Sounds like a plan. Then Pete can host CubFest Northeast next year!

Hmmmmmn.
3 daughters
The dowry for each needs to include a Cub
That gets one each for the boys and two for me. :-:-):
I think I'm on to something.

Peter,
Now don't get carried away with new fangled idea of yours! It might just mean that you need to be looking for 5 more cubs, one for each daughter and son :D If you want some info on how girls like cubs just ask David C. of Marysville Indiana , I think he is looking for another cub cause his 10yr old daughter took over his newly redone cub, all started last year at Bigdogs Cubfest......can it be happening all over again, just on a larger scale ????
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Thats great Peter. I was glad to meet you and your kids at cubfest. It was great seeing them running the cubs seemed the only time they got off was to change drivers :!:

:?: Donny the problem is I have neither. The good side is my neice and nephew are only 20 miles away and love to come over. They are "MY Kids"

Peter,
Yea, I'm in the same boat as you. Jake was really upset when I sold this 154 lo-boy last night, but I was just not going to have the time to work on it.

Hey, since you're in the marked for more Cubs, here is a decent lo-boy up in your area, and he is willing to sell it off of e-bay. Does not look to be in too bad shape, and the price is not too bad either.

Matt,
Nope. Believe it or not, I did a little cleaning on it on Sunday morning, and set it in front of my house with a "for sale" sign on it. Monday evening someone bought it, and came by yesterday and picked it up. Maybe I asked too little for it, but I did not want to screw someone over, and I did ok. I was going to keep it, but I just realized that a couple of other projects need attention, and I was just not going to get to it. Ther'll always be another.

Here is a pic of my 154.
