Late Cubfest Mail Delivery

Postby Gene Dotson » Wed Jun 28, 2006 12:18 pm

Just received my mail on WEDNESDAY and received a package sent by Arizona Mike by express mail. On Saturday's mail, which I picked up on Monday was a notice that a package was undeliverable. Again on Monday and Tuesday it still had not been delivered. I called the post office and was told only that the package could not be delivered, the carrier had not given a reason.
When it was finally delivered, it was by a new carrier who had no knowledge of any previous.
This is a book to be given to Bigdog, and Mike had paid $28.25 to be delivered during Cubfest. I hope Mike does a follow-up on this on his end as I will be doing on my end.

Sorry about the delay Mike. Would have been more than glad to acknowledge this.

Bigdog, Please send me your mailing address in a PM, so I can get this sent to you.

Gene - that package contains Mike's "Sacred Hovedbog". A journal and record book that began circulating at CubFest last year. It was Mike's desire that as many people as possible sign the book for him since he could not attend.
If it is not an imposition, would you please open the package, record a note about the 06 CubFest and if possible, list the names of the attendees (at least the ones who signed the sign-in sheets)? I can send you my address or I can pick the book up from you at Portland.

Bigdog;
I will make copies of the signup sheets and include them with the book.
Got George's tractors all home tonight. Just got home at 11:55pm.
Hopefully the post office will forward it after I talk to them tomorrow.

I should not have put insurance on the package. That's probably why they didn't deliver it..they were scared :shock:

You can just send it back to me or give it to BD at Portland Gene.

Mike;
I will be sending it to Bigdog tomorrow. I will insist the post office forward at their expense.
