Spring tooth harrow TA30

Postby Jackman » Mon Jun 26, 2006 6:42 pm

I got a spring tooth harrow with my Cub ,the only markings on it are TA30 , it has 9 springs and 2 metal wheels, its also green in color, it appears to be a nice size for a Cub, but I was wondering if it's an actual IH Cub implement or just so off market brand. Any ideas who made the TA30, spring tooth harrow?

Jack:

Are there any other numbers or identifying marks on the frame, bushings, or gease boxes?

Massey-Harris and I think Ferguson used TA for part numbers.. but not model numbers if I remember my research right.. (remember I have a couple Massey Harris pieces of equipment, as well as a Frost and Woods New Idea Mower that I cannot find info on...)

I am looking, I guess I should have posted..

I have 2 spring tooth harrows.. I think they are IH's.. but not totally sure yet.. Will look at the part numbers tomorrow ifn I get a chance..

So far, a Google on TA30 brings up unterseebooten, tax filings and other interesting stuff, but nothing about harrows yet..

Rudi, Nope no other id marks just the Dark green paint and TA30 that is cast into the adjusting handel, The adjusting handle is in the center of the harrow and there are 4 springs in the front and 5 in the back and its the same width as the Cub. I have no use for this harrow, but would be neat if it was a Cub specific impliment..

Thanks Jack
