As many of you know I bought a Cub from Pa over the weekend. As I have been getting it cleaned up I have noticed that it has been repainted. one clue was the i.d. tags paint splashes. The color under the flaking paint is white. Is this the undercoat or is the original color white? The draw bar and air cleaner are clearly white.

That would not be a demonstrator. However several things are possible. Your radiator casting could have been replaced at some time with an older one with the serial number left on or the white components could have come from a donor that was a demo. Check the major castings for casting codes. Look for casting dates and codes that indicate late 49 (S) or early 50 (T) production dates.
