PART I.D.

GAVE "LOCO" A WORK OUT THIS WEEK-END. HE DID PRETTY GOOD, ONLY QUIT ON ME THREE TIMES. MEMORIAL DAY, REMOVED HIS SOMBREO (HOOD). SEEMS THERE IS SOMETHING STRANGE GOING ON WITH THE THROTTLE LINKAGE. AND THERE IT WAS, (PREV/OWN. ) HAD USED WIRE AND SOME EVIDENCE OF JB WELD ON THE GOVENOR. WHAT I WOULD CALL A THROTTLE CAM OR BELL CRANK. IT HAS A SPRING AND A SHAFT GOING THRU THE GOVENOR HOUSING. THE THROTTLE ROD ATTACHES TO IT. CAN THIS PART BE PURCHASED? AND HOW DO I REPLACE IT?

SOMEDAYS I GET BRAINSTORMS  AND SOMEDAYS I JUST GET CLOUDS :!:

Larry:

Have a look at the exploded drawing on Page 12-18 Power, C-60 Engine, Governor and Connections.. and let us know which part it is.

Most of them are still available from your local CaseIH Dealer..

That sounds like the governor housing to me. If so, I have one with spring and rod I'll send you.
