Saturday morning my wife and I went to visit her uncle - the guy I got the 53 Cub from. I loaded the Cub on the trailer and took it for him to see. He was as excited about how it looks as I am! He then asked, "Do you want this other junk that I got with the tracor?" My eyes popped open and I asked what he had. He didn't know, but it was out in the corn crib that was about to fall. I started digging and found several hare teeth for the cultivator, and what appears t be a 174 planter, in its entirity!! When I asked what he wanted for it all he said, "Oh, that all goes with the tractor - you can have it"

Great find Festus! You just never know what's laying around some of these old farmsteads.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Soundsl like when I got Missy. I had to amke 2 trips with the little trailer ai had at the tiem, and all the attachments were in a barn, pikled in with ouher sutff, buried in mud, etc. We had finished and were heading out of the shed when I noticed what looked like a slip scoop buried under a lot of other stuff. Knowing he also collected horse drawn eqpuoment I n=mentioned it. he came over to it and said " i forgot about that, it goes with the cub". Wehn we got it dug out, it was a rear mount Gaylott soop made for cubs. :P
If you are not part of the solution,

Hey Festus...I'm sure your kindness in taking the finished Cub back to him to see, jogged his memory about the other equipment. When a former Cub owner sees your finished results...he knows that his tractor went to the RIGHT place, and that will bring about the TRUST that leads to other TREASURES :!:
