Cub mower ID

Postby technova » Thu May 11, 2006 4:42 pm

DOes anyone know the brand & model of this mower deck?
It has an International decal on it (under my quicky repaint) that appears to be on the original paint.
I need to get a new center spindle and don't know where or what to look for.

It appears I don't know how to post pictures, any help?

Without the picture I predict it will be a C-2.... any bets??

I'll take that bet!
It's not a C-2.
I went and looked at Donny M's links in the "rotary mower" post just to double check, it's not a C-2. Looks more like a C-3 mounted backwards.
I need to retake the pics, I had them on too high of resolution I can't get them to go.

Then if it is IH, it is probably a C-1. The C-3 ran the center spindle behind the side spindles and the C-1 ran the center ahead. Or maybe the other way around.

To me, it looks like a Pennington with IH decals?

It's a triple blade finish mower made in Addison, IL. I have one awaiting restoration. It looks like your picture.
