Postby Ron Thomas » Tue May 09, 2006 10:29 am

I've a Woods 42 mower on my Cub. Can this mower be adapted for use on a Farmall 130?

The simple answer is No. In reality, almost anything can be adapted to something else, but in this case, it's probably not worth the hastle. The 130's PTO spins in the opposite direction and different speed from the Cubs, so that would be the first concern. The mounting would probably not be a big deal.

Thanks for the reply. I suspected as much. Need to find a belly mounted mower for my 130 capable of cutting about 8 acres of rough stuff. Thanks again.

You'd probably be better with a tow behind bush hog type mower a little wider than the 42 woods.

You need a L59A Woods belly mount mower. This is for A superA 100 130 and 140. I have one but no tractor. Check out Woods site on web can download this manual and check it out.

Ron:

If you send an email to Woods : info@WoodsEquipment.com., you will get a very timely response.

Also, this is the manual you would be looking for.. L-59A-3 for the IH A, Super A, 100, 130 and 140.
