eeeeuuuuw!! That power units guts looks nastier that a wild hogs innards. That thing must have been out in the rain for a few years with its stack full of water :?: . I guess I was luckier when I bought mine that sat for 10-years. Mine started and runs great after a tank cleaning & new wires. :P
Then came Bronson

Scotty:

Oh meine Gott meine leibe Gott :!: :!:   :!:

Jethro's mill sat outside with no rain cap for 12 years and I can tell you this.. his cylinders, pistons and valves don't look anything like that at all :!: :!: :!:

I must go down to the shop and take a few pics..

Holy jumpin... boy.. I am some glad he don't look like that.

Same with the oil bath filter.. what did they put in there -- sand :?: :?: :?:

I guess that unit is going to get a complete tear down... huh  :!:  :D

This thread would be a good notice to all Cub owners as to why it is NOT a good idea to store your Cub outside... At least put it under a lean-to!!!

Not to dissuade anyone, but wouldn't this be a candidate for a "parts donor"??

Best of luck in getting it up and running!!

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
