Need to rebuild a spindle

Postby Kirk » Thu Apr 27, 2006 11:54 pm

It appears that the spindle on one of my belly mowers (42C-4) is in great need of repair. I'm sure a number of you have rebuilt these spindles. I have not. :?

Are there any special tools needed to accomplish the job. Or any words of wisdom  before I start :?:

Thanks in advance
Kirk

I don't know about the spindles on a IH mower but I have used a 3/4 inch copper tubing thread to tubing fitting and a piece of tubing to pound on to remeve and set bearings on Swisher trail mowers.
