5' woods mower?

Postby Thackery » Mon Apr 17, 2006 10:55 am

Just talked with a neighbor. Seems he needs some windmill parts that I have, and he has a 5' woods mower that he needs to get rid of. Can I in some way use this with my cub? It's a 3-point, pto shaft driven. I would appreciate any input.

Thanks, Thackery

Yes you can use it with your cub but you will need a 3 point hitch
and
You will need a speed reducer

Both items are verry expensive
much cheaper to get woods belly mower

Hope Thackery comes back...

The mower deck is the same as the belly mower. You could take the 3pt stuff off, and get the Cub mounting brackets. Swap out for left-hand blades, and you've got a Cub belly mower.

If it is a 5' bushog I do not think it would fit under a cub. The cub bushog is 42" and there is not much extra room.
