Several people at Texas Tumble Cubfest asked me what type/kind of material I used to sandblast my parts with.
It is "RMS AGGREGATE" also known in some circles as "Black Max". It
is manufactured by Reed Minerals of Mechanicsburg, Pa there plant is
in Memphis, Tn. It has a health risk rating of "0", Fire rating of "0", and
a reactivity rating of "0".
I find this to work much better that blasting sand. It does not clump up
due to moisture, stores well, and cuts much better.
Hope this helps.

Russ,
I gathered a lot of information from your Demos. and printed information you brought to TEXAS TUMBLE. I for one, would like to thank you for the hard work and dedication you give to teach alternative methods of repairing these "OLD" tractors. When I got back home I immediately went to Harbor Freight and bought that compact Campbell-Hausfeld sandblaster. The medium I bought at Northern Tools, which by the way, has it on sale for $6.25 a 50 lb/bag. was Black Diamond brand. It does a great job. THANKS for the Demostration

Russ, Thanks for the info on the medium. Remembered asking you at Texas Tumble, but..of course..couldn't remember the answer. We appreciated you doing the demos. That's was a nice group of Cubbers and Donny put together a good fest.
Thanks,
