Cub headlights

Postby meandmydeere » Sat Apr 01, 2006 3:57 pm

I have 2 Super A's, a 130 and 2 Cubs on the trailer right now and headed for Wisconsin tonight to deliver in the morning. My question is, one of the Cubs is a 1953. The headlights are little bitty things. Not very deep like the replacements we buy today. The 1948 that's on the trailer has the teardrop lights. The lights on the 53, are they original?

I am not sure if they are original or but they sound like the same ones that I have on my 53 cub

Not sure just ehn they changed, but it osunds as if you are describing the pancake style, which are approxiamtely the smae dialtmer, but pretty flat with a singfel terminal on the rear. Replacemenat lpas are aobut $35, so be sure you don't break one.
