"NEW" Sickle Mower guard maybe??

Postby Rick Prentice » Tue Mar 28, 2006 12:00 pm

Hi all. Was wondering if this would be acceptable for a temporary replacement till someone else makes the real thing. I went down to pick up some more steel for the Kodiak Karry-Alls and decided to give this a try and see how it looked. I think it will be ok, and will outlast the original, 3 to 1. They're copied from CUB HUT'S fine spec's that he posted. I'll post them in the For Sale section later today. Thanks, Rick

Rick:

Cool, very very 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :!:  :D

Now, HOW did you do it?

Also, how difficult would it be to mate a cover to it? MIG or TIG :?:

Very nice, another perfect example of mating fine craftsmanship to our fine old iron :!:  :D
