What are the pros and cons of adding electronic ignition to a 1953 Farmall Cub? THANKS

Other than cost there is no real con to adding electronic ignition. Especially if you work your tractor a fair amount.

I can't think of any reason to put electronic ignition on a Cub. Stock Cub ignition system, be it distributor or magneto, is inexpensive and easy to maintain. Electronics will not add any substantial benefit.
