Wow Rudi, that's an expensive piece of kit! And a nice full-foot one as well...
Down here, you can get one pretty cheap, and that just wraps down around the heel and up both sides of the leg, but that still works miracles.
Sorry to hear things are $$$ up your way!

Rudi
Funny you should show me that
I have something very similar called a cam walker that costs almost $400 dam!
I had this from the last foot injury I had a year ago
That's when I partially had torn the achilles tendon
now that hurt and took long time to heal.
So I am able to use it again lucky me!
It is starting to feel better anti inflamatories and rest
and ice.
Staying off it is important for the 1st 48hrs
This is one of the reasons my friends call me Toolman I can't keep out of the Doctor Offices.
Go figure
Thanks again Tony

Tony:
I have my own coffee cup in the Emergency room and they ALL know who I am
Although, not exactly for the same reasons as Tim Taylor... but according to Em (my better half) one would wonder...
Allen:

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Almost any good pharmacy that has orthotics and other walking aids. We bought ours at Shopper's Drug Mart....
They have a link on the Air Cast site: Ordering. They should be able to tell you who the local dealer is...
