Will go in a 4x8 trailer, and weight would be about 4 or 500 pounds.

I am pretty excited about this even though I shouldn't have spent the money.

Billy:

Saving for a rainy day is a good idea in theory, but.. and I can vouch for this.. you will have more enjoyment with that 23A than any amount of money set aside can bring. Trust me on this :!: :) :D

Glad you finally got one... a disc is a big help in the garden. My father-in-law says that a disc harrow properly used, is much better than a tiller ever could be. Seeing as he is 75 and has been growing crops for nigh on almost that many years... I reckon he knows what he is talkin about......

congrats! :!:  8) Image

Billy I brought one home in the back of my 8 foot Dodge PU. Fortunately I had help loading it. I got it to save it from the scrap pile. I replaced some of the discs. It does a great job inspite of all the stones in my garden.

Cowboy
I regret selling mine to buy a fast hitch disk. The 23a worked 10 times better but the fast hitch one is so much easier to move around. I guess it was a give and take.
When I sold mine I cut the bolts that held the 2 sections together and loaded it by myself in the back of my truck.

Thanks Guys. Chad I'll have to think on that. I do not want to pull a trailer on a 400 mile round trip with my four cylinder ranger. Can't wait to try the plows and disk out :!:

I saw a Bigdog had bid on it too I do not know if it was our Bigdog. But I thought it had to be a good if was :!:

John why is it a deal always comes up after buy somthing. Of course this one was a lot closer. I am picking it up saturday. And am hoping to use it and the plows next month. Colin said he and his dad wanted to bring his cub and try it out too. Anyone else that wants to try plowing and disking. Is welcome to come over and can use my attachments or try my cub. I'll let everone know when I figure out which weekend.

Larry I didn't think I was cutting it that close. I bid on a mott mower that was a $170 at 20 seconds put in a bid for $311 and still lost it.

Marion I like to have my equ. even if I am not using it too. I don't mind spending the money even though I am laid off right now. But I owe my brothers and dad (dosen't everyoun owe theit dad) for stuff for the generators.

Bought mine at an auction this past summer for a song. I brought it home in 2 trips in the back of my little Chevy S-10. I loaded it myself by taking the 2 sections apart and standing them on end with a 2x4 prop to keep it standing. I then backed the truck up to it and laid it down on the tailgate. From there you can wheel it back and forth while turning it. Easier than I thought it would be. I am going to use it for the 1st time in about 2 months.
