'57 cub grill screen
I finally had time to pull the grill off my cub. I think I can straighten it with a hammer and dolly. Is the wire mesh behind it a standard item? I can't salvage that.

Pshcyo - saving the grille is a very worthy project. The screening behind is 5 square per inch hardware cloth. Standard nowadays is 4 per inch. So if you can save yours it is definitely worth the effort. I have seen 5 square advertised in magazines but it ain't cheap! Why don't you take some before and after pictures and post them? Many on the board would be interested in your project.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

Hey Bigdog,
I told Rudi as soon as I could figure out how, I will. He offered to help if I e-mail them to him. I'm a tryin'. It's raining here today though, and she's a little buried. I will get them though.
My screen is shot. Jp gave me a price of $400.00 for a grill, so I figured I'd try to beat mine into submission It looks pretty good so far.

Psycho,
No, it isn't a standard that is easily available. Every garden grows similar screen that is only 4 wires/inch... but the original type has 5 wires/inch. That doesn't sound like much, but the difference will be obvious behind the 11 bar grille because of the narrow slots.
You can get the correct screen from Steiner Tractor but expect the price to be high.
